The Ministry of Equality and the GrowSPACE Foundation inaugurate the 7th edition of the LGBTQ+ Friendly Schools Ranking

Thanks to the responses of students from all over Poland, we will learn about the schools in the entire country that are most open to diversity. The results will be presented in the form of an Equality Map covering the entire country and showing places friendly to LGBTQ+ youth. This year, schools that take part in the Ranking will be awarded in the Perspektywy Ranking.

At the same time, we have acquired 20 patronage of public institutions for our social research. These include the patronage of: the European Commission (representation in Poland), the Ministry of Equality, the Ministry of Education and the Ombudsman for Children's Rights.

"This year's LGBTQ Friendly Schools Ranking will be held under the slogan "Open School". We are inaugurating another year of research on the level of safety and openness of schools to the needs of students, because we know that there is a constant need to build diverse spaces for young people. Building a safe place to learn is the basis for guaranteeing students the opportunity to develop. Therefore, schools that take part in our study will be awarded prizes in the Perspektywy Ranking," said Mateusz Trzaska, coordinator of the LGBTQ+ Friendly Schools Ranking.
