Rights of transgender people at school.

As the GrowSPACE Foundation, we are starting an educational project regarding the rights of transgender people at school. These rights are guaranteed by a number of higher and lower level legal acts at both national and supranational levels, including: by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

Despite this, transgender people still experience systemic discrimination, the legacy of which includes, among others: inspections by the former Ombudsman for Children, Mikołaj Pawlak, and education boards in schools friendly to the LGBTQ+ community where events related to Rainbow Friday took place.

We will communicate information regarding your rights on an ongoing basis on our social media and in a specially published guide on this subject.

As part of the project, we will provide students in need with ad hoc psychological and legal support.
